Mutual Promotion (“the App”) is a mobile app that lets users promote each other’s Facebook and X (Twitter) posts and earn Coins in return, which they can then spend to get their own business promoted. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Account information
When you register, we collect your name, phone number, and (optionally) email address. Your password is stored in encrypted (hashed) form — we never store it as plain text.

Business profile information
If you create a business profile, we collect the business name, description, category, website URL, phone number, and Facebook page URL you provide.

Promotion and submission data
We store the campaigns you create (post URL, platform, reward amount) and the submissions you make when promoting someone else’s post (the URL of your promotional post and its approval status).

Coin transaction history
Every Coin you earn, spend, or purchase is recorded in a transaction ledger, including the type of transaction (reward, purchase, admin adjustment, referral bonus) and the resulting balance.

Purchase information
If you buy Coins through Google Play, we receive the product purchased and a purchase token from Google, which we use to verify the purchase before crediting your account. We do not receive or store your payment card details — these are handled entirely by Google Play.

Push notification token
If you allow notifications, we store a device token (provided by Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send you notifications about your campaigns, submissions, and Coin activity.

Support messages
If you contact support through the in-app chat, we store the messages you send so we can respond to you.

Referral information
If you sign up using a referral code, we record the referral relationship so the referral bonus can be credited correctly.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information above to:

Create and manage your account
Operate the Coin-earning and promotion system
Verify and credit Coin purchases made through Google Play
Send you notifications about activity relevant to you
Respond to support requests
Detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity (for example, fake or reported submissions)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App uses the following third-party services, which may process limited data on our behalf:

Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — to deliver push notifications
Google Play Billing — to process Coin purchases
Our hosting provider — to run the app’s backend server

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

DATA RETENTION

We retain your account and activity data for as long as your account is active. If you would like your account and associated data deleted, contact us using the details below.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

SECURITY

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted password storage, token-based authentication, and HTTPS encryption for all data sent between the App and our servers.

YOUR CHOICES

You can update your profile information at any time from within the App. You can also request account deletion or ask questions about your data by contacting us.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
